John’s Birthday
We celebrated John’s birthday this long weekend. We often celebrate at the cottage but this year Brennan, Pam, Forest and Frida came to the Deep and celebrated here.

Brennan and Forest cooked home made pizza’s for the birthday boy in my pizza oven…(my June’s birthday gift to myself). 😜
Pam’s pizza was a cauliflower crusted one.
Frida can’t believe she ate the WHOLE thing. Delicious.

Forest, Frida, and Adam under Graeme’s instructions made a beautiful bird bath with concrete, leaves and gems. They’d built it together at the cottage: a bowl that caught sunlight like a tiny, perfect lake.
It was a reminder that the best gifts often come with muddy hands and a lot of love. A wonderful birthday weekend indeed.
