Elaine Bisson
Painter, photographer, rug hooker, ukulele player and adventurer.
I paint in watercolour, acrylics and mixed media (including soft pastels), rug-hook with lingering patience, and fumble cheerfully on the ukulele. I obsess over stationery—different textures of paper, pens, pencils, and markers of every kind—and always carry my phone to capture snow-laden trees, interesting stones, repeating patterns, majestic mountains. I notice colours like cerulean and ultramarie blue. Its all about the small details sometimes. I love adventures—having crossed Canada many times, from Newfoundland to Vancouver Island. I visited Italy 3 times and have been to Mexico and recently to Belize. I’m particularly drawn to water: Grand Manan Island, the family cottage, and any shoreline that calls. Come along as I wander and create in this wild, wonderful world.
