Painting kit

What I brought along on my adventure to Belize

My kit included a palette of my favourite colours including some turquoise and buff colours, watercolour pencils, pens and pencils, collapsible water cup, a variety of brushes, and 2 sketch books. One was a bit small but had great watercolour paper and the other was the right size but the paper was a bit thin. I’m on the look out for a sketchbook that works.

Here are the paintings that I produced while I was away. As I often say, painting brings back memories that a photo can never capture. And in the case of the Toucan, I had to use my binoculars to see him way, way, way up in the tree so painted him later with a bird identification book by my side.
